Golden Milk Lime Shirataki Noodles with Chicken or Alternitive

Another magical Shirataki noodle creation, search "Shirataki" on my blog for even more about these versatile low-calorie noodles. This meal takes minutes to make, you can use chicken breast or Beyond  Meat or tofu protein alternatives if you're fully vegan. I've also enjoyed this dish with just the noodles and sauce, add your favorite veggies and get creative with what you have! Enjoy.







Golden Milk Lime Shirataki Noodles with Chicken or Alternative

  • 1 tbsp raw almond butter (should say "raw", TJ's makes the best one, ingredients should just say "almonds"-raw tastes sweeter and creamier than roasted)
  • 1/4 cup water or veggie stock
  • Juice of 1 lime, all the zest
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp sumac
  • 1 pack Shirataki noodles
  • sliced green beans
  • cilantro, basil or mix, chopped for topping
  • 1 chicken breast, Beyond Meat, or high protein tofu
Blend raw almond butter, lime juice (with half the zest), onion powder, maple syrup and water together for sauce. Marinate chicken or tofu with remainder half lime zest, sumac, sea salt and pepper to taste-cube and sauté. Poor in sauce, sauté together more. Drain noodles of water that comes in bag well, and add noodles to pan. Top with sliced green beans, cilantro and basil.
