Crispy Chocolate Dipped Greek Yogurt Pops
Yasso Greek Yogurt bars are delicious and a decent alternative to most frozen treats on the shelves. If you're looking to make an even cleaner version with your favorite natural ingredients at home with no sugar or shelf-stabilizing ingredients, here you go!
What's in Yasso's: sugar, butter, cream, milk protein concentrate, natural flavorings, soy lecithin, maltodextrin, guar gum, locust bean.

Crispy Chocolate Dipped Greek Yogurt Pops
by Sarah Farsh, July 2023
- 1 container 2% fat or more plain greek yogurt, or vegan alternative
- 1-2 tbsp pure sunflower seed or raw almond butter (single ingredients only, should only show the seed or nut in the ingredients.)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- or 1 banana
- 1/4 cup monk fruit sugar
- pinch pink sea salt
- 1 tsp vanilla bean powder, or 1 vanilla bean whole
- 1/2 cup frozen cherries (optional to flavor like i did)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened or stevia sweetened dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup puffed rice
- or crushed nuts/coconut/freeze-dried fruit of choice
In a VitaMix or high powered blender, blend yogurt, nut butter, maple syrup (and/or banana), monk fruit sugar, salt, vanilla together well. Poor into ice cream pop containers and freeze for a couple hours. Meanwile, melt chocolate chips (without burning) in a glass bowl 1min in the micorwave or air fryer (check frequently not to overcook). Mix puffed rice into melted chocolate (you may need a larger bowl). After ice cream pops have settled in freezer, remove each one and dip into the chocolate rice mixture, and place onto a cookie sheet. Place back into freezer to set (at least 30min) and enjoy! These are best if you left them thaw a couple minutes before enjoying. The higher fat yogurt you use, the creamer these will be. The lower fat, the icier they will be.
