Chocolate Cake Pie Remix with Chocolate Avocado Frosting

Cake:
- 1 can unsalted chickpeas, with liquid
- 1 cup oats
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cacao powder
- 1 scoop plant protein powder
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
- 1 banana
- 5 squirts of monk fruit or stevia liquid
- 1 cup unsweetened dark chocolate chips
- 1.5 tsp baking soda
- grinds or left over coffee from the morning (optional, to enhance chocolate flavor)
Frosting:
- 1 large ripe avocado (use x2 for a thicker layer)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cacao powder
Blend all "cake" ingredients together, adding the chocolate chips after so they stay whole. Poor batter into a non stick pie dish, and bake at 350° for 45 min, or until softly firm to touch. Allow to cool for at least 20 minutes before frosting. Meanwhile, blend all "icing" ingredients together and keep in fridge until ready to ice your cake. This makes a thin layer of icing, just use x2 avocados if you want a thicker layer. Enjoy!
