DIY Bath Bombs Salt Potion

I used to make essential oil drenched bath salt potions with my dear friend and yoga teacher Kitty to glitter bath time with. Years later, we had a fun activity day at work where we learned how to make these all-natural bath bombs and they're SO easy. Taking baths are medicinal and enjoying a soak in your own potion makes them even better. Have fun mixing essential oils together with a set intention when jarring, bagging or pressing into bomb molds. Write down what you want the potion to work on for you like "love", "peace", "relaxation" and enjoy for your next dip!

Bath Potion Ingredients:
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 cup citric acid
  • 1/2 cup epson salt
  • 1/2 cup corn starch
  • all-natural color pigment, dried flower petals (optional, you can use beet juice from roasted beats, turmeric powder, or purchase ready made colors!)
  • 2-3 tbsp almond oil
  • 12-15 drops essential oils
  • bath bomb molds (soft plastic or soft plastic muffin tin)
Mix together all dry ingredients with good intentions, add as much or little color pigment as you like. In a separate bowl, mix together wet ingredients and add wet to dry ingredients very slowly. Mix until combined, should feel like wet sand. Press "wet sand" into mold, or simply jar up in a glass container to sprinkle potion into a warm bath.
