Crystal's Hot and Classic Cauliflower Wings

Made for the free-spirited, hot and classy types "need to make" list. These vegan cauliflower wings taste far from basic, and probably one of the most simple meals to whip up. What's her secret?

I peel off the rubber lid at the top of a Crystal Classic Hot Sauce bottle to get a poor, then run the whole contents over fresh cut cauliflower chunks. It's that simple, now you make.

Fun fact: I choose to use Crystal Hot Sauce for this recipe because the ingredients are super clean, don't contain salt/oil/preservatives (just aged red cayenne peppers, distilled white vinegar, salt–peppers being dominate, listed first), a whole bottle contains 0 calories, the taste is most familiar to classic buffalo wild wings, you don't need any other ingredients, and it's cheap!

  • 2 packs fresh cauliflower florets (about 2 heads)
  • 1 bottle Crystal's Hot Sauce (Louisiana's Pure Hot Sauce–original flavor)
  • Serve with raw cashew sour cream (raw cashews soaked overnight, drained and blended into cream with pinch of kosher salt and 2 cloves garlic)
Pre-heat oven to 350. Dump cauliflower florets onto a baking vessel and poor the bottle of hot sauce on top of cauliflower evenly. Mix the florets around in the sauce so that every one is drenched in red. Bake for 45-50min or until tops are lightly toasted. You can preserve the left over sauce to poor on top of salad, rice, grains, beans or soup! Serve with raw cashew sour cream for extra goodness!
